A Colorful Scientific Slime-filled Wish

HOLLYWOOD, S.C. (December 2019): Jazyah likes to play with dolls and slime. She has sickle cell anemia, a condition in which there aren’t enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen throughout the body. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, made her science and slime-filled dreams come true and purchased her subscriptions to Kawaii Slime Company, an online retailer of whimsical slime products, supplies and gifts and KiwiCo, an online company that creates and delivers science and art kits for kids of all ages. Kids Wish Network also purchased Jazyah a generous Walmart gift card.

“Jazyah will have so much fun shopping for her favorite things and receiving all of her special deliveries,” said Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai.

Wish Teen is Ultimate VIP at American Music Awards

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (November 2019): Austin is an aspiring music writer and rapper. Music elevates his world, and gives him time away from the stresses of having hemophilia A, a hereditary bleeding disorder. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, made his dream come true being an Ultimate VIP at the 2019 American Music Awards.

Before his wish trip, Austin felt special getting personalized attention at Dillard’s Pier Park. They styled a look reflecting his personality and provided him with a custom-tailored suit to get him red carpet ready. And then it was time. A NASA Wish to Reach New Heights

D.C., Wash. (November 2019): Kenneth is fascinated by astronauts and everything NASA. Kenneth has an autoimmune condition, and Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, went to the moon and back to send Kenneth’s dream into orbit.

His wish began at the Kennedy Space Center where he went on a VIP tour to see the launch pads and vehicle assembly building. He also toured the space shuttle Atlantis and experienced the Mars Base 1 program where he got to simulate what it would be like to be an astronaut living on Mars. Kenneth then had lunch with retired astronaut Robert C. Springer who revealed to him that he’d be going to Washington DC to tour NASA Headquarters. Oklahoma Girl has a Whimsical Wish at Disney

ORLANDO, Fla. (November 2019): Mackenzie loves Disney, her favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast, and she loves all the Disney princesses. Mackenzie suffers from congenital amegakaryocytic thrombocytopenia, a rare inherited blood disorder that reduces the level of bone marrow cells that produce platelets. Mackenzie has already had to have two rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant in her short three years of life. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses made her dream come true, sending her to Disney World.

Kids Wish Network flew Mackenzie and her family to Orlando, Florida for her big wish. They stayed in a beautiful suite at the WorldQuest Resort. Oklahoma State Bring Cheer for Magical Wish

STILLWATER, Oklahoma. (November 2019): Reece is a peppy little girl that loves football and Disney. Her favorite team is the Oklahoma State Cowboys – she especially loves the cheerleaders and their mascot Pistol Pete. Reece was born with spina bifida, a defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don’t form properly. She was also born with Chiari malformation, a condition where brain tissue extends into the spinal canal. Reece’s wish began at Boone Pickens Stadium. A Deere Wish for a Country Boy

WATERLOO, Iowa. (November 2019): Morgan is a country boy through and through. He’s happiest when on his garden tractor and tending to his family’s yard… it takes his mind off the stresses of his life-threatening condition. Morgan loves everything about tractors, and expanding his toy tractor collection. Kids Wish Network, a children’s charity that grants wishes for kids with life-threatening illnesses, sent him to John Deere Tractor Cab Assembly Operations in Waterloo, Iowa for a heavy-duty adventure.

Morgan found out about his wish during a visit to West Central Equipment, a John Deere retailer in Butler, Pennsylvania. Morgan asked, “Is dad buying a new tractor?” He was in for a surprise. Store Manager Gary Karns gifted him a bountiful gift basket filled with an extraordinary assortment of John Deere toys and merchandise. Karns then revealed that Morgan’s dream was coming true.
